The Outride surfskates are the skateboards designed for surf training by Alessandro Servadei, considered the Guru of the Surfskate in Italy. Alessandro, in his surf school in Fuerteventura, has been using surfskates for functional training on land for years and over time has decided to produce his own line of surfskates to better meet his training needs. In fact, many of the surfskates he found on the market did not fully satisfy him and he often found himself having to make changes to the standard surfskates. This is how Outride surfskates were born: to offer the best possible tool for training flat or vertical surfing.
Last summer we were lucky enough to meet and talk in person with Alessandro who, between a surf and a surfskate session, presented us with the whole new 2021 range, with the classic models that we all already knew and some new very particular models and that immediately won us over!
The surfskates of Servadei have some points in common, beyond the differences between the individual models, which make them recognizable and which manage to conquer both beginners and experienced surfers:
- Truck Diamond
Outride's diamond truck is a replica of Carver's more famous CX, with some differences, of course. This truck has slightly different geometries than the original CX. The result is a truck with an equal or slightly wider steering angle. The bushing that the Diamond mounts are softer than the Carver soft so the final sensation is greater softness and mobility under the feet. On the other hand, bushes are a little less durable, but replacing them is neither difficult nor expensive.
- Medium short wheelbase
Servadei surfskates are characterized by a rather narrow wheelbase. This makes them extremely agile and responsive in any situation and a lot of fun even in small spaces. If you have the opportunity to use them on a wooden wave or a ramp you will immediately realize that they allow you to put more maneuvers in a confined space, compared to other surfskates.
- Big wheels and Abec 9
The Outride surfskates are equipped with 75 x 56 mm wheels, therefore the largest for surfskates out there, along with good quality Abec 9 bearings. This results in a feeling of great smoothness and fluidity. Alessandro explained his idea to us like this: "I really wanted to give the sensation of surfing on the road. This is why I chose solutions that would allow to absorb the roughness of the ground, giving the sensation of really sliding on the water, without annoying tremors.
- Flush cut e Wheel wells
Flush cuts are small recesses in the deck, at the truck. These allow you to integrate risers and trucks into the board in order to increase cushioning and remain very close to the ground.
Wheel wells, on the other hand, are re-entries in the deck in correspondence with the area where whellbite generally takes place and serve to prevent the wheels from touching the deck, even if they are larger than usual.

Ride Fish 33
The Ride Fish 33 1/2 ″ x 10 ”is a surfskate designed to bring the sensations of a modern, agile and light Fish to the ground with performance very close to the shortboard, while maintaining the comfort and flow of a retro board. This surfskate is extremely handy and fast, perfect for those who take surfing training seriously and intend to use it on vertical structures that are wooden ramps or waves. Always one of our favorite models.
Ride Fluid 33
Ride Fluid 33 1/4 ″ x 10 ”is a new 2021 model. The goal of the project was to create a more fluid surfskate than any other in circulation, capable of giving us the feeling of a foilboard that cuts the water silently and smoothly. . The result is a surfskate that moves sinuously, extremely light under the feet and above all very pleasant.

Freeride 33 1/2
Freeride 33 1/2 ″ x 9 ”is a snowskate more than a surfskate! In the sense that this skate was designed specifically for snowboard training. So here we have a narrower deck, a fairly wide wheelbase and a setting that allows you to hold exactly the stance you have on your snowboard. This is a fast, stable and precise board with which to tackle fast descents and powerful carving. A deck that allows you to switch from snowboard style to surf style with a single change of stance, ideal for all snowboarders.

Easy Ride 32
The Easy Ride 32 "x 10" is the most versatile surfskate in the range. A Surfskate with a tight turning radius and a good support to allow you to have fun everywhere, in the city and on the flat as well as on the structures. This is thanks to its nice wide deck and with a nice pronounced concave but which flattens in the foot support area. The Easy Ride is a surfskate created for tablet surfers looking for a simple yet radical ride, but which is also incredibly well suited to beginners. An agile and extremely easy to ride model, capable of truly adapting to most riders and conditions.

Ride Punk 30 1/2
When Alessandro introduced us to the Ride Punk 30 ½ "x 10" he confessed that it was one of his favorite models, the one on which he was able to best express his surfing style. A wide, angular and squared deck capable of transmitting an uncommon feeling of stability and speed control, without sacrificing tight and agile cornering radii. Surfing with this board you realize you have no limits, effortlessly and at low speed it helps you to close all the surf tricks on the planet!

The Surf Your City 28 ″ x 9 1/2 ”surfskate is the smallest and most agile of the range. A surfskate that was created to move and surf in the small spaces that our cities can give us. A small but well balanced tablet that will allow you to snap every corner of your city
