Soul Surfboards is the most important among the surfboard brands produced in Spain in the Factory Glassing Monkey, one of the largest in Europe. Glassing Monkey is the Spanish factory, based in Seville, famous for its high quality standards in the production of surfboards. Here the surfboards are produced thanks to numerically controlled machines and then hand-shaped by highly experienced shapers such as Matt Barraw and Matt Penn, Patrick Flanagan and Diego Gonzales. And as regards the materials Glassing Monkey uses the famous blanks Bennett Foam Australia, an Australian company leader in the supply of blanks since 1960. For the polyester lamination only SILMAR resins made in America are used: the standard of the surf industry for over 30 years . SILMAR resins are bright, consistent and UV stable,
Dion Cloth shapers made in America. The resin treatment at a controlled temperature to ensure that the resins harden at optimal temperatures, both in summer and in winter, to guarantee the resistance of the materials ... in short, the best you can ask for.
At Glassing Monkey they are particularly proud of their choice to use only the best raw materials and the fact that this allows them to obtain a lighter and stronger surfboard.
Another point in favor of the company is the ability to customize the table not only with the measures, but also with graphics of your choice and colors with a fairly low surcharge. Production times and therefore waiting times for your own personalized surfboard are three / four weeks from the order. A relatively honest time if we think that on average the wait for a custom board can vary from 8 to 12 weeks.
As for the range, there are so many models ranging from longboards to shortys ... so many that talking about all of them would be impossible. So we decided to present you the most suitable models for most surfers from beginners to intermediates: new generation, funboard and of course a look at the longboards sector.
New generation
By new generation we mean that category of boards that ranges from hybrids to modern fish. A wide range that includes both performance boards and surfboards for everyday use with an eye for the so-called summer boards: small wave boards and less powerful sea.
BLOG
The Soul Blog is a multipurpose Surfboard that recalls the very famous Hypto krypto by Haydenshapes.
A surfboard with a lot of volume under the chest for easy paddling and a tapered tail for very tight cornering.
The dual nature of this board means that it can be used in small sizes on powerful waves, even tubing, by advanced riders. Instead, beginner to intermediate surfers will be able to choose the board in large sizes so as to use it as a cruiser all do on small and medium waves.
SPEED FISH
Speed ???
Advanced to expert level riders will be able to choose the Speed ???
Beginner to intermediate surfers will be able to choose the board with more volume, appreciating the easy paddling without losing its performance.
LITTLE BUDDY
The perfect board for smaller and less powerful summer waves. A board appreciated by all types of riders. Whether you come from a longboard or a shorty, a board like this is what it takes to have fun when you wouldn't even take a bath with a board. Flat nose rocker and a good tail rocker for tight turns help maintain speed while maneuvering. Much of its secret lies in the combination of rocker and rail. The board comes with five boxes to be used both trifin and quad according to your preferences.
Funboard
Funboards are the boards dedicated to beginners or intermediates who need a board to progress quickly and take lots of waves. The models that attracted us the most are boards that can also be chosen by people with more experience as an alternative to longboard on days at sea not so not so perfect for a long.
FAT WOMBAT
The original model, the Wombat is a surfboard that knows no bounds. A board for all conditions and for all surf levels. The Wombat is the board that saves you the exit in any situation. If the sea is small, the generous volume, well distributed over the entire surface of the board, will allow you to surf and descend the waves. When the wave becomes more demanding, the central fin plus the two lateral stabilizers will allow you to perform tight maneuvers without ever losing speed.
Fat Wombat glides on any wave, no matter how flat or slow it is. Perfect for those looking to get off a longboard or the intermediate surfer looking for a board to ride in any conditions.
EVO 2
Modern design the Evo is one of the most enjoyable boards for surfing. Due to its design and the dimensions chosen, it can be classified both in the beginner sector and in the category of experts who want a stable and at the same time maneuverable board.
The wide nose gives stability, the generous and well distributed volume make rowing easy and fast, while the rounded-pin helps in curves, making the transition from rail to rail very fast.
MINI IS
The Mini Er is a multipurpose board, a cross between malibu and a longboard to be used even when the sea becomes challenging to go out with the longboard.
With a medium rocker in the back and low through the nose, it helps paddle and get into the wave early. The flat bottom on the nose, soft in the center and a nice V on the tail.
The rails are 60/40, ending with a hard rail from fin to tail. All this together with an excellent volume distribution make this MINI ER an extremely sensitive but very stable longboard.
Longboard
Difficult to choose just a few models among all those in the longboards category, where we can find very, very different boards and dedicated to surfers of different levels. From the beginner / intermediate looking for a board that allows him to become familiar with the first steps and progress quickly to the more advanced riders looking for performance boards to perform their hang ten on formed waves.
MC
The MC is a long in one of its most classic forms. Crushed rails 50/50. Prominent spoon on the nose and bottom. This is not a beginner board but for longboarders who already have a good experience and for the more refined nose riders.
BUZZY
Classic longboard designed for nose riding. It allows you to perform the most classic maneuvers helping you to develop your style. Soft drop in the nose and 50/50 rail for greater maneuverability.
Add the highest quality finishes such as colored resin and glossy finish and you will transform your classic longboard into a work of art.
60's
A longboard inspired by the progressives of the 60's and that works best in above chest or sunken waves. A nice tight tail to make it more manageable. The nose is not too wide to improve stability in hollow waves. Thin rails to increase sensitivity and enhance curves.
It has a soft concave on the nose and V on the tail. The rocker is average.
