Innovation and exceptional performance for surfing every day

The Haydenshapes Holy Hypto was developed with the goal of combining the best features of two popular models: the Hypto Krypto and the Holy Grail. The result is a versatile board designed to excel in various wave conditions and surfing styles. It is intended to be a "daily driver," performing well in both powerful, large waves and more common, less consistent beach breaks.

FutureFlex of Haydenshapes

The Holy Hypto utilizes Haydenshapes' FutureFlex technology, which incorporates a combination of advanced materials and construction techniques to deliver exceptional performance. The FutureFlex design includes a carbon stringer running the entire length of the board, enhancing flexibility and responsiveness. This allows surfers to achieve greater control and a livelier response underfoot.

Main Features

The Holy Hypto stands out for its balance between performance and speed. The medium front rocker, inherited from the Holy Grail, allows for effective turn entry and good maneuverability in tight spaces. The low rear rocker, similar to that of the Hypto Krypto, ensures speed and stability during transitions between sections of the wave.

The board features a concave that starts with a slight rolled V, transitions to a single concave under the front foot, and culminates in a subtle double concave towards the tail. This configuration provides a well-rounded combination of lift, drive, and release.

Wave Type and Rider Level

The Holy Hypto is designed to be used in a wide range of conditions. It performs excellently in medium to large waves and handles both high-quality and more mediocre wave conditions well. Its versatility makes it suitable for both intermediate and advanced surfers, providing a blend of ease of use and advanced performance.

Recommended Fins for the Holy Hypto

To maximize the performance of the Holy Hypto, it's recommended to use AM Large fins for high speed and quick release. Additionally, the 2+1 configuration with IPA fins can further enhance the board’s performance, making it extremely fast and lively. Many surfers find that using a twin plus trailer setup offers an ideal balance between speed and stability, while the quad setup is also highly appreciated for its ability to maintain drive and grip without sacrificing maneuverability.

In summary, the Haydenshapes Holy Hypto is an exceptionally versatile surfboard designed to deliver a unique surfing experience in nearly all conditions. With its innovative construction technology and well-balanced design features, this board is an excellent choice for surfers seeking a blend of speed, control, and performance.

Been surfing for a year: do you still have the right board?

After twelve months on the water, something has changed – does your board still know?

A year ago, you bought your first board – probably a nice softboard – and you made an excellent choice. But now your pop-ups are cleaner, you can read the waves, and you feel that board is starting to feel a bit too small for you. That’s
